Whats the difference between a normal BIKE and a MOUNTAIN BIKE?

A "bike" is a generic term meaning all bicycles, but they come in three varieties. First, the street bike, which has a slim, aluminum frame, and light, narrow, tubeless tires. next, the mountain bike, which has a thick, rugged aluminum frame, and heavy, wide tires for rough terrain, with the more expensive models also having a shock system. third, the cross-trainer. a light, slimmer bike, it is not as thin as the street bike, but not as wide as the mountain bike. it is used for both street use and some rugged terrain.

SportsNuts Making Waves in Watersports Community; SPCI Aiming to Increase Revenues with Wakeboarding Events

SALT LAKE CITY--(BUSINESS WIRE)--April 21, 2005--SportsNuts, Inc., (OTCBB:SPCI) is pleased to announce that its wholly owned subsidiary, The Intermountain Wakeboard Association (IWA), has entered an agreement with East Canyon State Park to host four of their wakeboard competition events during the summer 2005 season.

In a first for regional lakes, the IWA has come to an agreement with East Canyon State park to allow competition areas to be closed to the general boating public, allowing for better water conditions, and safer conditions, throughout the competition.

According to IWA President, Clayton Barlow, "East Canyon is one of the best venues to hold these type of events due to weather conditions, water conditions, locale and ease of viewing for the spectators.......and the addition of being able to run in closed areas is just amazing and a testament to how committed East Canyon State Park's Management is to the water sports community."

SportsNuts created IWA in order to increase the participation in competitive style wakeboarding and enhance the wakeboarding community as a whole. IWA's philosophy is simple, have fun and bring people to the water.

Emergency rooms busy treating winter sports injuries - 620 WTMJ

MILWAUKEE -- Now that we've got a fresh layer of snow on the ground, many people will be hitting the slopes or the ice skating rink. That also means more patients will be making trips to emergency rooms.

"Several sports kind of have a propensity for injuries in the winter, skiing and snowboarding being the most common, but we'll see kids who are sledding or ice skating [get injured] as well," said Dr. Matthew Wichman, a sports medicine orthopedic surgeon with Aurora Health Care.

Any time you participate in a winter sports activity, Dr. Wichman recommends going with a friend or two, in case someone does get hurt.

"Also, layer appropriately for the elements. Be able to undress a bit if it gets too hot, but also be able to bundle up if it gets too cold. And if you're doing any of the higher energy sports, I would definitely recommend wearing a helmet, goggles, and even elbow or wrist pads."

Even people who wear protective gear can get hurt, but usually not as badly as those who don't.

Kia and LeBron going biblical with K900 King James Edition

Kia and LeBron going biblical with K900 King James Edition

Both the Kia K900 and Hyundai Genesis cars are vastly underrated. They're at least $20K less expensive (I didn't say cheaper) than a comparable Benz or BMW but closer to a Cadillac.

Besides, Lebron doesn't have anywhere else to go but down. He's still a good baller, but geez, he's 30 years old! He doesn't even make the top 10 basketball players in NBA history (and there is at least one current Bball player on the list!).
